About the role

Lighthouse Christian College - Keysborough is seeking a highly capable and enthusiastic Laboratory Technician to join our dynamic team. As a full-time role based in Keysborough, VIC 3173, you will be responsible for providing essential technical support and assistance to our science laboratory and classroom activities.

What we're looking for

Relevant qualifications in a scientific or technical field, such as a diploma or certificate in Laboratory Technology or a related discipline

Demonstrated experience as a Laboratory Technician or in a similar role, preferably within an educational or research setting

Strong knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and the ability to ensure the safe handling and storage of chemicals and equipment

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff and students

Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of organization and cleanliness in the laboratory
