About the role

A great opportunity has become available for an Senior Business Services Accountant to join the talented team at this CBD mid tier firm. In this full-time role, you will be providing valuable accounting and advisory services to a diverse portfolio of small to medium-sized businesses.

What you'll be doing

Preparing financial statements, reports and business analysis for clients

Providing strategic tax planning advice and ensuring client compliance with all relevant tax obligations for both domestic and International clients

Undertaking some Management Accounting

Assisting with the implementation of accounting systems, processes and controls to improve clients' financial management

Conducting regular client meetings to understand their needs and provide tailored business advisory services

Collaborating with the wider team to deliver exceptional client service and support the growth of the firm

What we're looking for

3+ years of experience in a business services role, within a professional services firm

Strong technical accounting skills, including expertise in financial reporting, tax planning and compliance

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to build trusted relationships with clients

Proven ability to provide strategic, commercially-focused advice to help clients achieve their business goals

Experience using contemporary accounting software and technologies

CA or CPA qualification highly desirable
