This high profile renewable energy business has a strong asset base and development pipeline and an ambitious strategy. Headed up by someone of Australia's leading investment experts, they have an impressive finance team in place and provide an exciting environment for any career-minded individual.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:

Assist with the preparation of consolidated monthly, half-yearly and annual financial statements together with the outsourced service provider

Ensure financial statements are accurate, complete and delivered within deadlines

Reconcile accounts and review journal entries

Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations

Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions and intercompany transactions

Assist in the preparation of monthly cash flow forecasts and calculating funding requirements

Support the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts

Together with the tax team and Finance Manager, prepare all relevant information to ensure compliance with all tax regulations, including GST, income tax, and other relevant taxes

Audit work

You will be CA/CPA qualified with 3+ years experience in Finance & Accounting, either as a first mover from a Big 4/2nd tier firm, or as a Financial Accountant in a relevant business (infrastructure, utilities, renewables, energy, property etc). Strong technical accounting and analytical skills, business partnering capabilities, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment are all key.
