Champagne Recruitment has partnered with an expanding NDIS provider located on the outskirts of the CBD to find an experienced and proactive Workforce Coordinator. The role may begin as part-time, with opportunities to develop into a full-time, permanent position as the organisation continues to grow. About the Role:
As a Workforce Coordinator, you will be vital to our organisation’s growth by ensuring smooth and reliable service delivery. Your key tasks will include managing staff rosters, leading the recruitment and onboarding of support workers, and handling real-time workforce issues. You will act as the primary point of contact for all rostering and workforce management, supporting both our team and the participants they serve. This is an excellent opportunity to help us attract, develop, and retain passionate NDIS support workers, while contributing to the ongoing success of our organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage weekly shift rosters to ensure optimal staff coverage
Lead recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding of support workers
Address no-shows and coverage gaps proactively to maintain service continuity
Coordinate last-minute replacements and manage on-call support (rotation-based)
Oversee incident protocols and maintain accurate ShiftCare logs
Monitor workforce performance, attendance, and reliability
Align rostering with participant needs, funding, and service agreements
Keep staff records updated, including availability, qualifications, and preferences
Communicate clearly with support workers regarding shifts and expectations
Implement systems to streamline operations and improve efficiency
About You:
You have proven experience in workforce coordination, rostering, or operations support within the disability, health, or community services sector. You understand NDIS service delivery models and workforce requirements, and you thrive in a fast-paced, people-focused environment.
Required Skills & Experience:
Proven experience in rostering and workforce support (disability, health, or community)
Strong understanding of NDIS requirements and workforce needs
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
Experience with recruitment and onboarding processes
Proficiency in rostering software (e.g., ShiftCare) and Microsoft Office
Knowledge of employment law, awards, and payroll considerations
Ability to work independently and responsively
