About The Role
The Marketing Officer supports the Marketing and Customer Communications Manager by carrying out a range of marketing and administrative tasks to support the implementation and delivery of effective, targeted, and credible internal and external marketing and communications strategies to internal and external customers.
This position will be covering a period of parental leave and is available on a maximum term contract until 08/05/2026.
Responsibilities include:
- Stakeholder coordination and engagement, including coordination of promotional events and displays.
- Develop, update, and maintain active internal and external stakeholder lists for marketing and communication purposes.
- Collaborate with all departments to capture key contacts.
- Assist in the management of the Home in Place brand and enforce brand compliance.
- Manage marketing and promotional material.
- Manage Google Business listings and reviews.
- Coordinate, support and attend fundraising, promotional and tenant events as required.
- Manage SDA vacancy and SIL EOI listings on the Home in Place website.
- Manage Media Monitoring and daily internal news distribution.
Essential Selection Criteria
To be considered for the role, you must address these criteria in your application.
- Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications or a related field.
- Experience with designing platforms such as Adobe Illustrator and Canva (desirable).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor communication to different stakeholders.
- Social media knowledge and the ability to adopt new technologies.
- Ability to schedule priorities and work to deadlines.
