About the Opportunity

Are you a seasoned Estimator with a passion for high-end commercial fitouts and refurbishments? We’re seeking a driven and detail-oriented Senior Estimator to join a leading commercial construction firm based in Sydney. This is a rare opportunity to step into a pivotal role within a dynamic and collaborative team, delivering award-winning projects across the commercial, workplace, education, and health sectors.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead and manage the end-to-end estimating process for commercial fitout and refurbishment projects.
• Analyse tender documentation, conduct site inspections, and liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing.
• Prepare accurate cost plans, BOQs, and tender submissions in line with margin parameters.
• Mentor and support junior estimators and contribute to a high-performing team culture.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless project handovers and successful bid outcomes.
• Maintain and develop strong relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and estimating technologies.

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience as a Senior Estimator in commercial fitout and refurbishment
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, tendering processes, and cost planning.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project and estimating software.
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a commitment to quality and client satisfaction.
