As General Manager you will be reporting directly to the executive team. Your leadership will be focused on optimising both the General Practice and Specialist Services within a large vibrant medical centre. Your strategic insight and hands-on approach will support continuous improvements and contribute to the growth and success of the medical group.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Stewardship & P&L: Take ownership of the financial budgets, forecasts, and full Profit & Loss (P&L) management for the medical group.

Operational Governance: Oversee and enhance all daily practice functions, ensuring optimal patient experience and service quality across the centre.

Medicare & Compliance: Bring your understanding of Medicare billing rules, MBS items, and private health fund processes to maximise revenue integrity and maintain impeccable compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations.

People Management: Lead, mentor, and empower your team, overseeing including performance systems, professional development, and fostering a high-engagement, collaborative workplace culture.

Growth and Improvement: Champion continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the strategic planning for the group’s expansion and service development.

Role Criteria

• Proven track record of success in management of a General Practice.
• Strong understanding of the financial and regulatory landscape of Australian General Practice.
• Excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to manage complex operations.
