About the Role
We are seeking a hands on General Manager to take full responsibility for leading and growing the business. This is a rare opportunity to step into a role where you will oversee the entire operation. From sales and estimating through to construction, fabrication and customer delivery.
You will:

• Lead and mentor a small team of sales, estimating, drafting, administration and workshop staff.
• Drive sales performance and pipeline growth, setting strategy and motivating the sales team.
• Oversee construction and fabrication, ensuring quality and on time delivery.
• Manage profit & loss, budgets and business planning.
• Implement modern systems and processes to lift efficiency and performance.
• Collaborate closely with the parent company’s Managing Director for support, guidance and alignment of strategy.

About You
We are looking for a resilient, commercially minded leader who thrives on challenge and growth.
You will bring:

• Proven sales management experience. Able to lead, coach and lift a sales team.
• Strong financial and P&L management skills.
• Background in the construction, steel or building industry.
• Experience in systems and process improvement.
• Exceptional people leadership and client relationship management skills.
• A strong willed and resilient style, able to handle difficult clients, present ideas, collaborate, and take on board direction from senior leadership.
