The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Estimator to join the team as the business scales up over the next few years.

This is a pivotal role where you’ll take the lead on all tendering and estimating, working closely with the Directors, General Manager, Project Managers, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure commercial success from procurement through to completion.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing drawings, specifications and project briefs to develop detailed scopes
• Conducting take-offs, quantification, and cost buildups
• Coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing
• Preparing tender submissions, comparative schedules, and markups
• Risk profiling, value engineering and cost-control input
• Maintaining cost databases, unit rates and metrics
• Liaising with internal teams, consultants and stakeholders to clarify scopes and assumptions

About You

• 5+ years of estimating experience, ideally apartment or commercial construction
• Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and cost drivers
• Experience with estimating software (e.g. Cubit, CostX, or equivalent)
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical mindset and commercial savvy
• Strong communication skills, able to engage with consultants and subcontractors
• Ability to manage competing priorities and tight tender deadlines
