Responsibilities
The role of our Resort Duty Manager is like no other, no two days are the same and some duties you will be responsible for include:
Lead our Front Office team and partner with your piers to grow, develop and innovate Q1 guest services
Manages day-to-day operations and ensure our quality of standards meet our discerning guests expectations
Own guest feedback. Settle disputes and where needed resolve grievances or conflicts by negotiating an outcomes that is acceptable to guest and property alike
Assist our GSA team with check-in, check-out and general front desk tasks
Manage Front Office reports & past guest social media content
Be our face of the Q1 Management Team, lead by example, anticipating our guests needs
Actively work with other departments daily
Monitor and support training and guidance to our Front Office team
Assist in all areas of the Resort daily to eliminate potential issues and ultimately deliver a great experience to our resort guests
Skills
Ideally you will come to us with:
Demonstrated experience in guest service and guest feedback management
Knowledge of CMS or similar property management systems (PMS) is preferred
Minimal 2 years of Hotel or Resort front office exposure
Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office & Excel and cashiering/shift reconciliation skill set
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
High levels of eye of detail & attention to detail
A passion for genuine 'above & beyond' experience delivery to our resort guests
Effective communicator to all levels and departments
Available to work varied shifts including early morning & late evening. You will be required to work weekends and Public Holidays on a fair roster basis
