Role Overview

You will inherit and grow a team of Corporate and Mid-Market brokers across multiple locations, with a focus on leadership and development rather than client management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of brokers across multiple locations
• Lead the team through change as the business continues to develop and transform
• Hire and develop Corporate and Mid-Market brokers across Australia
• Contribute to the design and execution of strategy across the broking business
• Support on escalated client matters where appropriate

Candidate Profile

You will be a proven insurance leader with experience managing high performing teams.

To be successful you will:

• Have worked preferably within an Insurance Brokerage leading teams, or alternatively Underwriting Agency or Insurer
• Hold a strong knowledge of commercial products either Property, Casualty, Construction or other lines
• Demonstrate a track record of holding difficult conversations, managing performance effectively
• Be an experienced Insurance professional with at least 10 years in General Insurance
• Show strong leadership acumen with a focus on growth and productivity
