Your Opportunity

Join our passionate team as a Case Manager working on the Goulburn Sustaining Tenancy Program, where your work will directly support tenants in social housing across Queanbeyan and Goulburn who are at risk of losing their homes.

This is more than just a job - it's a chance to create lasting change. You'll help build stronger community connections for people experiencing isolation, and work to improve outcomes that support long-term, stable housing.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

• Work with clients to create holistic and strength-based individualised case plans utilising SMART goals including referral to supplementary services as needed.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to sustain tenancies.
• Assist in the creation and delivery of community events to improve outcomes through community engagement.
• Deliver training programs which support the practical needs of the clients.

Requirements for Success:

• Previous experience in the community service sector.
• Diploma or Degree level qualification in Community Services, Social Work, Drug and Alcohol, Mental Health or other related discipline is desirable.
• Good understanding of the challenges and difficulties in the social housing sector
• The ability to work with clients who are facing challenging and multiple barriers to tenancy.
• Confident relationship builder with the ability to quickly build rapport.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Previous experience developing complex case plans.
• Current Driving Licence
• Current First Ais and CPR Certificate

Before starting work with us, you will need to undertake a national police history check, qualifications, and referee checks, and have a clearance to work with children/vulnerable people.
