Salary: $75,000–$87,000 AUD per year (commensurate with experience and skillset)

Are you a hands-on professional with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for quality? We’re seeking a dedicated Quality Technician to join a dynamic team in a permanent capacity. This is a fantastic opportunity to apply your fabrication and inspection expertise in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:
• Conduct final inspections of completed installations to ensure they meet design and appearance standards.
• Identify and document quality issues, perform minor touch-ups or repairs, and coordinate major fixes with production teams.
• Maintain detailed inspection logs and prepare defect reports with photos and recommendations.
• Oversee workshop quality control, ensuring adherence to welding, finishing, and safety standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams and liaise with customers on-site regarding product quality concerns.

What You’ll Bring:
• Solid experience in metal fabrication, manufacturing, or construction.
• Strong understanding of fabrication standards, tolerances, and surface finishes (e.g., galvanising, powder coating).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and perform minor repairs.
• Skilled in preparing inspection and non-conformance reports.
• Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel to project sites.
• White card preferred.
