We are seeking an experienced and motivated Bottle Shop Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Liquor Barrons store. This is a hands-on role that requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and a customer-first approach.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and supervise day-to-day operations of the bottle shop.
Lead, train, and roster staff to ensure smooth operations.
Maintain stock levels, ordering, and supplier relationships.
Ensure compliance with liquor licensing laws and RSA requirements.
Deliver excellent customer service and resolve issues professionally.
Implement merchandising and promotional displays.
Manage cash handling, banking, and daily reporting.
Monitor KPIs and drive sales targets.
Skills & Experience
Previous experience in a retail or bottle shop management role (preferred in liquor retail).
Experience using H&L point-of-sale and stock management software (essential).
Current RSA certificate (essential).
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage stock, budgets, and sales reporting.
High level of customer service with a hands-on approach.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
