About the Opportunity

The primary purpose of the Process Safety Analyst is to deliver specialist regulatory services for Major Hazard Facilities (MHF), applying advanced technical expertise in hazardous chemical risks, chemical processing operations, and process safety. The role encompasses the execution of compliance monitoring, enforcement actions, and preventative actions involving audits and inspections, process safety-related incidents investigation, evaluation of the effectiveness of risk management practices to prevent or mitigate major incidents, preparing written advice, technical reports, and formal correspondence in accordance with MHF legislative and regulatory frameworks.

SafeWork SA (SWSA) is responsible for providing work, health and safety, public safety and state-based industrial relations services across South Australia. As a regulator, Investigators and Inspectors ensure work, health and safety, and public safety standards are met and appropriate action is taken when breaches of laws are detected.

Special Conditions for Employment
