Position: Dental Practice Manager
Location: Crows Nest, NSW
Employment Type: Part-time (3–3.5 days per week)
Days: Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays + possibly Saturdays
Practice Size: 2-chair private practice with 4 part-time dentists

About the Role

We are seeking an organised, people-focused Dental Practice Manager to oversee daily operations at our friendly, well-established, patient-centered dental practice in Crows Nest. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of administrative responsibility, team support and patient interaction. You will work closely with the principal dentist to ensure smooth clinical operations and an excellent patient experience.

The successful candidate will receive a comprehensive handover and full training from our current long-standing Practice Manager, who will remain available to provide ongoing support for as long as needed to ensure a confident transition.

Key Responsibilities

Greeting patients and ensuring a positive patient experience

Answering phone and responding to enquiries

Making appointments and managing the daily schedule

Taking payments and processing claims

Ordering and replacing stock

Paying accounts and supplier invoices

Reconcile Xero and maintain accurate financial records

Answering reviews and maintaining professional online communication

Take minutes during practice meetings

Organise equipment maintenance and servicing

General reception and administrative support to dentists and patients

Skills & Experience

Experience in dental or medical reception/management is highly regarded

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

Confident computer and software skills (We use Principle dental software)

Friendly, professional, and patient-focused

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
