Monster Hire is looking for a mechanically minded and detail-focused Yard Hand / Machinery Detailer to join our growing team

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, notices the small details, and enjoys working around machinery and equipment. A background in mechanical work, machinery operation, or equipment maintenance would be highly valued.

In this role, you’ll be part of a very busy and supportive team located 20km north-east of Chinchilla. You’ll need to be safety-conscious, reliable, comfortable with getting dirty and working outdoors in all weather conditions. Strong communication skills, the ability to prioritise tasks and a commitment to working efficiently and thoroughly are essential. Being organised, punctual, and a good team player will help you succeed in this role.

A Forklift or Skidsteer Ticket is preferred (or a willingness to obtain one).

Applicant must have own transport, be a non-smoker, and be willing to undergo a pre-employment medical screening.

This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, with some occasional weekend work. Above award wages and penalty rates paid.
