Pay & employment

Hourly (permanent): $25.50 – $40.00 + Super (12%), aligned to skill level (L0–L5).

Casual equivalent: permanent rate x 1.25.

Allowances: Leading Hand and First Aid where applicable.

Penalties and overtime paid per the Vehicle Repair, Services & Retail Award (MA000089).

The role (what you’ll do)

Safe wash and decontamination, wheels, interior reset, DA machine finishing, coatings and protection packages.

Execute standard work to time-certain ETAs; log photo-based QA; reset bays to standard.

You bring (what we’re looking for)

Coachability, pace, discipline; manual licence and reliable transport.

Comfortable with PPE, SDS basics, and dilution ratios.

Detailing experience is a bonus; not required (we train for speed and quality).

Progression runway (real, not theoretical)

L0 Trainee (2–4 weeks): safety, product ID, dilution math; 1 full car to takt time.

L1 Technician (1–3 months): iron/tar; clay without marring; DA finishing; 3 consecutive QA passes.

L2 Senior (3–9 months): two-step correction; complex sequencing; <3% rework trailing 30.

L3 Coatings Specialist (6–12 months): flash control, humidity, zero high-spot returns.

L4 Site Lead / L5 QA: scheduling, coaching, audit cadence.
