Our client currently have an opportunity for a Commercial Manager to join their Senior Leadership Team and support the delivery of their current and upcoming pipeline of work nationally. This group are a market leader in the new build D&C sector for projects ranging from $30 mil - $150 mil and partner with high profile development and corporate groups across Australia.

About the Role
As a Commercial Manager, you will take ownership of all commercial aspects at the company, including overseeing administration of the head contract and subcontracts, developing the procurement strategy and processes, as well as outlining cost controls, budgets and managing project cash flows. As this is a leadership role you will also lead and mentor the commercial and administration project teams through to handover.

To Be Successful, You Will Need

• A construction management, building, engineering, or quantity surveying degree or equivalent coupled with 10+ years industry experience in the construction industry, ideally on projects ranging from $30 mil-$150 mil
• Expertise in contract management, construction law and quantity surveying, along with program financial management, risk and opportunity management, performance reporting, budget preparation and administration.
• Experience managing and developing teams of junior staff, strong written and verbal communication skills, and experience managing groups of high-level stakeholders, both internal and external.
