Proclinical is seeking an Project Manager Engineering to join our clients Network Strategy & Sustainability department. Our client is a global Biopharmaceutical leader renowned for its innovation and commitment to delivering medicines that improve and save lives. At their Broadmeadows site, they manufacture life-saving plasma-derived medicines.

Role Overview

Reporting to the Director Capital Project Management, and working within the Network Strategy & Sustainability department, the Project Manager Engineering will take ownership of engineering projects in process and utilities from design through to execution, managing scope, budget, and schedules to deliver on key business priorities. The role will require strong leadership across multidisciplinary teams and the ability to manage contractors and stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.

Duration: 12-month contract (likely extension)
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: Mon–Fri, standard business hours (no overtime required)
Capacity: Primarily onsite at Broadmeadows, with occasional work from home flexibility
WHV: Only if available for 18 months min

Role Responsibilities

Project management within the Process and Utilities areas

General project management oversight and scheduling

Design, delivery, and execution of engineering projects

Leadership of a small discipline-specific team

Skills and Experience

Relevant tertiary qualifications such as in engineering, or science.

Comprehensive knowledge of project management principles and lifecycle phases in large engineering/manufacturing operations

Strong understanding of quality management systems, procedures, and GxP principles

In-depth knowledge of risk management methodologies and contract management/administration

Proven capability in budget planning and financial management

Advanced proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Outlook

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Demonstrated experience leading a small team in engineering or related discipline
