As a Social Media Advisor, you'll have the exciting opportunity to drive the University of Melbourne's social media presence across three prestigious faculties. You'll create engaging content, implement innovative strategies, and provide expert advice to showcase the University's excellence in research, teaching, and campus experiences. Working collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, you'll play a crucial role in amplifying the University's brand and impact on social platforms.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Manage and Moderate Social Media Channels: Enhance the University's brand and reputation through effective channel management and content creation.
- Develop Engaging Content: Produce and distribute innovative, shareable content across various social media platforms.
- Provide Expert Advice and Training: Support University stakeholders in social media strategy, operation, and reporting.
- Analyse and Report on Performance: Monitor campaign effectiveness and provide recommendations for optimisation.
You may be a great fit if:
You are a creative and strategic social media professional with experience in developing engaging content and implementing successful social media initiatives in a complex organisation.
You may also:
- Have a tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Possess strong copywriting skills and experience in social media content development.
- Demonstrate exceptional client service and stakeholder management abilities.
- Have excellent communication skills.
- Be adaptable and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Show a commitment to high ethical standards and professionalism.
