Our client, an innovative, agile business and is seeking a motivated individual to appoint as a Building Supervisor to join their dynamic and innovative team.

The primary objective of the role is to conduct property inspections, assess each project, complete accurate scope of works, prepare and submit reports and quotes, allocate work orders, monitor and assess allocated cost and complete work order adjustments.

Specifically, the successful applicant will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:

Manage, monitor, coordinate and supervisor projects

Conduct inspections and compile accurate scope of works

Prepare and submit building inspection reports

Compile and deliver accurate scope & quotes maintaining the customers’ requirements & company’s KPI’s

Communicate and keep all stakeholders informed and up to date

Plan, schedule and deliver multiple residential and commercial construction projects

Supervise and maintain quality control of projects

Assess & process invoices

Establish and maintain business relationships Adherence to company policies and procedure

Maintain a safe, healthy, and enjoyable work environment

To be successful in this role you will need to possess the following qualifications, experience, and core competencies:

Certificate or Diploma in Building & Construction (desirable)

Common Safety Induction Course (White Card)

Experience in the insurance industry (desirable)

Effective time management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Excellent customer service, conflict resolution and negotiation skills

Excellent time management skills, managing multiple tasks, competing priorities, and meeting conflicting deadlines

Must be diligent and thorough

Strong attention to detail

Knowledge and understanding of construction requirements, practices and products

Knowledge and understanding of internal documents including but not limited to, specifications, selections, plans and construction details
