About the role

As the Linings Supervisor at Bonoli Plasterboard, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the efficient and effective installation of plasterboard and other lining materials at construction sites. This full-time position is based in Melrose Park, SA 5039, where you will lead and coordinate a team of skilled workers to ensure projects are completed to the highest standards.

What you'll be doing

Supervise and direct a team of plasterboard installers to ensure all work is completed safely, on time, and to the required quality standards

Coordinate the delivery and allocation of materials to job sites, ensuring efficient use of resources

Monitor progress and performance of the installation team, providing guidance and support as needed

Liaise with builders, site supervisors, other contractors, and other stakeholders to coordinate scheduling and address any issues or concerns

Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of installation processes and procedures

Quote, schedule and invoice maintenance or variations to projects where required

Provide training and mentorship to less experienced members of the team

What we're looking for

Extensive experience (5+ years) as a linings supervisor or lead installer in the construction industry

Strong technical knowledge of plasterboard and other lining materials, including installation methods and best practices

Experience with commercial and bespoke projects would be advantageous.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team

Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications

Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Commitment to workplace health and safety

Relevant trade experience, qualification or certificate
