About the Role
We’re looking for a friendly and professional Receptionist to join our dedicated team at Sandown Veterinary Clinic in Springvale, VIC.
This full-time position plays a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our very busy clinic. As the first point of contact for our clients, you’ll provide exceptional customer service and administrative support, helping create a welcoming and positive experience for both our clients and their beloved pets.

What You’ll Be Doing

Greeting clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism

Managing appointments, handling enquiries, and maintaining an efficient clinic schedule

Providing administrative support, including data entry, filing, and maintaining accurate client records

Processing payments and assisting with daily cash handling

Supporting the veterinary team with general tasks as needed

Keeping the reception and waiting areas tidy, organised, and inviting

What We’re Looking For

Previous experience in customer service or administration (veterinary or healthcare experience highly regarded, but not essential)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a caring and empathetic approach

Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to stay calm under pressure

Confidence using computer systems and scheduling software

A genuine love of animals and a commitment to their wellbeing
