About the opportunity
There is currently one (1) permanent position available for immediate filling.
Are you looking for a role where no two days are the same?
We are looking for a Sponsorship and Events Coordinator who will be responsible for promoting the department’s brand, products and services through the development and execution of innovative events and activations. Events range from corporate functions through to regional field day displays and community events.
Our desired candidate has strong organisational skills, attention to detail and flair for creating engaging events and displays across a wide range of topics and stakeholder groups.
The role also coordinates the department’s involvement in external industry and community events, evaluates sponsorship opportunities and oversees the department’s sponsorship program. As part of your role, some regional and overnight travel within WA is required.
We are looking for individuals with:
A passion for community engagement, as well as the ability to build strong relationships with corporate and business stakeholders.
Demonstrated experience in event development and delivery with the ability to plan, budget, multitask, coordinate and evaluate events that are delivered on time and within budget.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to draft promotional materials to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
Demonstrated experience in coordinating sponsorship opportunities for events, maximising return on investment and providing recommendations on the department’s involvement.
A current and valid Western Australian C (car) class driver's licence or equivalent is required. If not currently held, must be acquired prior to commencement at applicant's expense.
