We are seeking a highly capable Company Accountant to join a growing, project-driven organisation in the industrial / infrastructure sector. This is a pivotal role - you'll manage core finance responsibilities while helping to drive innovation through data and systems improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Lead full-cycle accounting functions: general ledger, journals, reconciliations, accruals, provisions

Manage Tax and Audit workstreams - liaise with external auditors, prepare supporting schedules, ensure compliance

Prepare and present management reporting, variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow projections

Support continuous improvement by leveraging systems, dashboards, and Power BI (or similar BI tools)

Assist with financial modelling, scenario analysis, and data-driven decision support

Work with the team to embed AI / automation where relevant (e.g. in reporting, data cleanup, process optimisation)

Handle month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities

Collaborate with operations, project teams, and leadership to align financial outcomes with project goals

Ensure accounting policies and internal controls are maintained and improved

What We're Looking For

Qualified or part-qualified Accountant (CA / CPA or equivalent)

Strong experience in Tax and Audit (or exposure)

Solid technical accounting foundations, with demonstrated experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis

Passion for systems, analytics, Power BI, and enthusiasm to adopt AI or automation tools

Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to work autonomously

Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with project / operations teams

Strong verbal and written communication skills
