A well-established and growing professional services firm is seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant to lead financial operations and support strategic decision-making. Your new role

As Senior Corporate Accountant, you will oversee the full spectrum of financial operations, including payroll, compliance, reporting, forecasting, and strategic planning. You'll work closely with senior leadership and operational teams to deliver financial insights that drive business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts receivable and payable processes
  
• End-to-end payroll processing and compliance
  
• BAS, tax, and statutory lodgements
  
• Month-end close, reconciliations, and management reporting
  
• Budgeting, forecasting, and preparation of annual financial reports
  
• Partner with external accountants and advisors
  
• Provide financial insights to senior management
  
• Mentor and support junior finance staff
  
• Leverage project management software for invoicing and reporting
  

What you'll need to succeed

• Minimum 7 years' experience in a senior accounting role (professional services or AEC sector experience highly regarded)
  
• CA/CPA qualified (or equivalent)
  
• Strong technical accounting knowledge
  
• Demonstrated expertise in payroll, tax, reporting, and budgeting
  
• Advanced Excel skills and confidence with financial systems
  
• Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills
  
• A proactive, collaborative, and hands-on approach
