Accountant/Senior Accountant | Brisbane CBD | $95-110k + Super | 5 days in the office

Join a leading property and construction company that's on its growth trajectory and looking to hire an Accountant/Senior Accountant as a result. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to broaden their experience in a dynamic, project-based environment and work closely with a seasoned finance team in state-of-the-art offices right in the heart of Brisbane City.

The Role

Reporting to senior finance leaders, you'll play a key role in managing day-to-day accounting operations while supporting broader financial projects across multiple entities. This role offers strong exposure to the full accounting cycle and the opportunity to contribute to ongoing process and system improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing and reviewing balance sheet, bank, BAS/GST, and settlement reconciliations
• Assisting with management reporting, variance analysis, and project performance summaries
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and compliance activities
• Maintaining asset registers, insurance schedules, and loan facilities
• Managing accounts payable and receivable in line with company policies
• Contributing to process improvements and internal control enhancements

About You:

You're a hands-on Accountant with strong technical skills, a collaborative mindset, and a genuine interest in property or project-based industries. You enjoy variety in your work, take pride in accuracy, and thrive in a high-performing team.

You'll bring:

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting and 3+ years' experience in an accounting function
• CA/CPA qualified, part qualified, or looking to commence
• Exposure to property development, construction, or project accounting (advantageous)
• Strong understanding of month-end processes, BAS/GST, and reconciliations
• Experience with ERP systems - MYOB, Xero, or Jobpac are beneficial
• Excellent Excel skills and a proactive, detail-oriented approach
