About the roles
2IC Office Managers support their respective Office Managers, our administrative staff, clinicians and patients. They help oversee a practice’s daily operations, liaising with internal and external stakeholders to manage services while providing high-quality of patient care.
2IC Office Managers lead by example, they are strategic, foster a professional work environment and coordinate and train administration staff. They address inquiries/requests/complaints in a timely and professional manner.
These roles support the leadership team to achieve the organisation’s goals for high-quality patient service, quality improvement and business growth.

Responsibilities
The roles offer a diverse range of responsibilities, including but not limited to:
Management of daily office workflow
Management, support and supervision of administrative staff
Patient administration and customer service
Training of administrative staff
Compliance and implementation of organisation policies and procedures
Contribute to organisational decision making through contributions to meetings and contributions to policy and procedure reviews
Using patient information systems; capturing relevant information and confirming that patients understand the costs associated with their imaging services, if any.
Selection criteria / Job requirements
Demonstrated ability to manage and be responsible for organising all tasks involved in the day-to-day function of an office.
Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
Strong effective management and leadership skills.
Demonstrated commitment to best practice principles and established policies.
Ability to work transparently as part of a team and to work to support the goals of senior management.
A proven record of valuing, motivating and developing employees through effective leadership, communication, consultation and development.
Advanced computer skills including working across multiple screens and systems.
Proven ability providing consistent, high quality customer service.
Applicants must have full work rights in Australia with no restrictions.
A relevant qualification would be highly regarded.
Our 2IC Office Managers work from our 10 practices in the ACT and surrounding NSW. While each 2IC Office Manager is assigned a home practice (Deakin or Bruce), they may be required to work from different sites in support of operational needs.
Working hours are scheduled between 7:00 AM and 9:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
Voluntary weekend shifts may also be available between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Overtime is paid for additional work completed on the weekend.
Comprehensive training will be provided to ensure that each 2IC Office Manager succeeds and completes tasks in an efficient and effective manner.
