Their in-house professional skills include construction management, design and construct, project management and quality assurance. They have an extremely stable management team and they are enjoying measured success with steady growth leading to more and more internal opportunities. Their Current annual turnover is around $130m and is continuing to grow.

They are currently looking to appoint a Senior Estimator to work within their Estimating team in the Brisbane office reporting through to their Director.

Typical project ranges are $5m to $40m.

Role:
The Senior Estimator has the following specific areas of responsibility

• Be proficient in Estimating software - Currently using Bluebeam and Buildsoft but happy to implement a new software
• Assess project details and manage client expectations
• Work closely with operational team members on tender programs and buildability.
• Prepare subcontractor packages, the bill of quantities and support with the tender submissions.
• Conduct post tender negotiations
• Prepare contract and costing documentation for the construction teams.
• Modern office based in Fortitude Valley

Ideal Candidate

• Project tendering experience over $5m
• Estimating experience with a reputable mid tier construction company
• Previous experience on Commercial or Government construction projects is desirable
• The ability to work to and meet deadlines
• Well organised, strong work ethic, enthusiastic, motivated, honest, high level of integrity
• Tertiary qualifications
