About the role

We are looking for an experienced Practice Manager to join our passionate team at Birds of Paradise, a leading healthcare provider in Cairns, Queensland. As our Practice Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our medical practice, ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of high-quality patient care.

What you'll be doing

Manage and oversee all administrative and operational functions of the medical practice

Develop and implement policies, procedures, and systems to enhance practice efficiency and productivity

Ensure compliance with relevant healthcare regulations, standards, and accreditation requirements

Supervise and mentor the administrative staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment

Liaise with healthcare providers, patients, and other stakeholders to address inquiries and resolve issues

Oversee the practice's financial management, including budgeting, invoicing, and financial reporting

Contribute to the strategic planning and decision-making processes of the organisation

What we're looking for

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a healthcare practice management role

Proven track record of successfully managing the operations of a medical practice

Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, policies, and accreditation standards

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with patients, providers, and staff

Proficient in financial management, including budgeting, invoicing, and reporting

Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Collaborative team player with a strong focus on providing exceptional patient care
