Umbrella Legal are a fast paced law firm with offices in Cardiff and Singleton NSW. We regularly appear in the Local and District Courts of Lake Macquarie, Newcastle and Hunter Valley regions, and the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia, predominantly in the Newcastle Registry.

As part of your role, you will be working primarily in the following areas of law:

• Family law

• Criminal law

• Wills & estates

The ideal candidate will have:

• 2 to 3 years post admission experience, preferably in one or more of the practice areas listed above.

• The ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities

• A high level of written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

• The ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively with other staff

• Excellent computer literacy and research skills

• Proven attention to detail and highly organised

• The ability to manage and meet a monthly budget and effectively time record.

• A can-do attitude and demonstrate a client focused approach.

As party of this role, you will be required to hold a NSW Drivers License, reliable transport, be admitted to the Supreme Court of NSW & the High Court of Australia, and hold a current NSW Law Society practicing certificate.
