Due to our continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a Solicitor with minimum 5 years post admission experience to join our close-knit team on a full-time role basis.

The successful applicant will possess:

Australian work authorisation is required for this position.

A minimum of 5 years PAE;

A comprehensive understanding of NSW criminal law and procedure and Family Law;

The ability to multi-task and prioritise while having carriage of a large volume of files;

The ability to work autonomously and part of a team;

Experience appearing at Court;

Great leadership skills as you will be mentoring three to four junior lawyers;

A strong ability to follow firm procedures and protocols;

Willingness to take direction and receive constructive feedback;

High-level problem-solving skills and the ability to learn new tasks quickly;

Ability to source and retain new clients;

Knowledge of LEAP Legal Practice Management Software; and

A current driver's licence as travel is required between offices and to Court.

Daily Tasks & Responsibilities

Liaising with clients

Attending conferences with clients and barristers, etc

Attending Court

Drafting Court documents including submissions

Providing practical legal advice to clients

Working with support staff to complete administrative tasks.

Mentoring junior lawyers
