The Opportunity
Step into a high-volume Contract Administration role supporting a Property Paralegal within a busy, collaborative team. This position is ideal for someone aiming to build a career as a Legal Assistant in property law.
Working under the guidance of a paralegal, you’ll play a key role in providing timely and accurate administrative support across property matters. The role offers excellent opportunities for growth, including pathways to a paralegal career.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Provide timely and accurate administrative support to Property Paralegals
- Manage high-volume, repeat contract tasks for real estate transactions
- Prepare, scan, and amend property documents and contracts
- Conduct property searches (titles, certificates, planning, etc.)
- Assist with the preparation and lodgement of legal documents
- Coordinate settlement paperwork and file compliance
- Maintain accurate electronic and physical file systems
- Archive, return, and retrieve legal files in line with firm procedures
- Liaise with internal teams, paralegals, and external property stakeholders
- Perform general administrative support (printing, filing, data entry)
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as an administration assistant, ideally within legal, conveyancing, or property admin
- Strong organisation and attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Enthusiastic about building a rewarding career in the legal industry
