About the Role
Play a vital role in supporting our brigades and the communities they serve.
This full time, ongoing position provides essential administrative and volunteer support to Brigade Management Teams, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and strengthening the brigade's capacity to serve the community. The position will be working at the Kerang District office supporting the Gannawarra Shire catchment.
Responsibilities are varied and will include managing administrative processes, assisting with volunteer recruitment and retention, coordinating meetings and activities, supporting fundraising initiatives and helping deliver community campaigns.
This role is key to enhancing brigade effectiveness, sustainability, and community engagement.
Please note: travel and after-hours work will be required in this role.
About You
You bring experience working in volunteer-based environments and understand the unique needs of supporting community-focused teams.
With strong administrative and information management skills, you are confident handling day-to-day operations and recordkeeping. Your excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, enable you to engage effectively with volunteers, community members and stakeholders.
Highly organised and self-motivated, you can manage tasks independently and deliver results within deadlines. Relevant qualifications or experience equip you to meet the requirements of this important role supporting brigade operations and community service.
