Provide guidance to offshore team

Our client is a well known and respected business with multiple revenue streams. The group has doubled in size in the past 6 months, with further rapid growth expected. This role has been created to support a growing volume of transactions across the business and will play a key role in managing invoicing, collections, reporting, project management, process improvement and providing guidance to the offshore accounts support team.

Key aspects of the role include:

Ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, debt collection, reconciliation and reporting

Providing oversight of receivables processes, supporting cash flow management and monitor variances

Reviewing market agreements, maintaining up to date registers and training offshore staff

Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely payment and adherence to credit terms

Processing adjustments, credits and refunds

Preparing weekly and monthly aged debtor reports, including collections updates

Identifying risks relating to overdue accounts and recommend risk mitigation strategies

Preparing bank reconciliations for relevant entities

Our ideal applicant will have a proven, stable track record in end-to-end accounts receivable, reporting and stakeholder relationships, with at least 5 years in a similar role. You should have strong knowledge of accounting principles and receivables processes, with advanced Excel skills and the ability to analyse financial data. Your strong attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines will stand you in good stead.
