The opportunity

With an exciting portfolio of ongoing and upcoming projects, we are looking for a Senior Piping Stress Engineer with experience specifically related to offshore assets to strengthen our already high performing team.

Someone who is familiar with multi-discipline design and engineering environment, pipe stress engineering onshore and offshore platforms and FPSO asset.

Experience in and with the Oil & Gas industry standards and procedures both onshore and offshore.

Detailed Piping Engineering experience

Onshore Pipe Stress Engineering Experience

Pipe Stress engineering of Offshore platforms and FPSO asset

Responsibilities

Perform and check engineering calculations and simulations

Prepare, check and sign off technical documentation

Engineering input, checking and sign off of design deliverables (documents and drawings)

Liaison with Clients and Suppliers

Assist Lead Engineer in completing budget and schedule estimates as well as reports

Complete engineering tasks within the allocated timeframe to the specified quality level

Assist Lead / Principal Engineers to update progress percentage, forecast manhours and forecast completion dates for all deliverables

Attend project meetings, internal and external, to support project management and Lead Engineers

Attend fortnightly engineering discipline team meeting

Assist in the development and maintenance of company procedures for discipline engineering

Qualifications and Requirements

Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent

7+ years experience

Right to work in Australia

Experience in Oil & Gas Industry

Experience specifically related to offshore assets
