Summary:

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will play a key role in the design, upgrade, and maintenance of heavy haul and mining rail networks.

What you'll do:

Lead and deliver track engineering design, construction, and upgrade projects, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and client requirements.

Provide technical expertise and hands-on involvement in large-scale rail infrastructure upgrades and renewals.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including project managers, engineers, and contractors, to ensure successful project delivery.

Prepare and review engineering documentation, technical reports, and design drawings.

Oversee and coordinate site activities related to track works, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Identify and resolve technical issues, providing innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges.

Manage project timelines, priorities, and resources to achieve project objectives.

What you'll need to have:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil preferred).

Minimum 8+ years’ experience in an engineering design capacity, with a strong focus on track design and construction.

Extensive experience in track design, construction, upgrades, and maintenance—ideally within heavy haul or mining rail networks.

Proven hands-on involvement in large-scale rail infrastructure projects.

Experience working with engineering consultancies or rail-focused companies is highly desirable.

Highly motivated, with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative approach to teamwork.
