An exciting opportunity exists for a Finance Manager / Senior Accountant to join a growing, global insurance business on a 6-month contract.

This role will provide critical support to the finance team during a period of heightened activity, transformation and business growth.

About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Finance, this hands-on role will play a key part in delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, maintaining strong financial controls, and supporting the broader business with meaningful financial insights.

You’ll join a collaborative, high-performing team that values both technical excellence and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

• Month-end and quarter-end close processes to ensure timely, accurate results.
• Prepare and review financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations and management reports.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis across multiple business units.
• Assist with statutory and regulatory reporting, audit requirements and compliance obligations.
• Provide oversight and guidance to the finance team to ensure process efficiency and control integrity.
• Partner with operational and commercial stakeholders to deliver financial insights and analysis.
• Support process improvement initiatives and assist with finance system enhancements.

About You

• CA/CPA qualified (or equivalent) with 5+ years’ post-qualification experience.
• Proven background in financial reporting and management accounting, gained within a complex commercial environment.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Proficiency in financial systems and advanced Excel capability.
