Management Accountant

• Rate: $60-70 p/h plus super, 6 month temporary assignment
• Location: Inner West & Hybrid Working
• Budgeting, Forecasting, Analysis, Month-end

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our clients finance team. This role offers a mix of hands-on accounting responsibilities and opportunities to provide meaningful insights that will support decision-making across the organisation. This role will suit a CA or CPA-qualified finance professional with experience in a not-for-proft organisation.

The role:

• Support the budgeting and forecasting processes
• Prepare month-end journals and maintain the general ledger
• Conduct variance analysis, support management reporting, and participate in month-end stakeholder review meetings
• Provide project finance support, maintain the chart of accounts, and manage shared finance mailbox queries
• Support financial modelling and ad-hoc analytical work

Skills & Experience:

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain finance concepts to non-finance stakeholders
• Proficiency in TM1 Planning Analytics and Intermediate-to-Advanced Excel skills
• Customer service mindset with a collaborative approach
• High attention to detail
• Commitment to continuous improvement
• Not-for-profit sector experience is essential
