The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to our join our team. You will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing and repairing diesel-powered plant and equipment used on civil infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities:

- Service, maintain and repair diesel engines, hydraulics and associated equipment.

- Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults.

- Fabricate or modify components where required (bonus experience).

- Maintain accurate records of work completed.

- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company policies and procedures.

- This role involves travel, including interstate work as required.

- Living away from home required.

Skills & experience:

- Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic.

- Hydraulic experience required.

- Electronic/electrical experience preferred.

- Fabrication or boil maker experience is a bonus.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- HR/HC, LE and white card required.
