AGRICULTURAL DIESEL MECHANIC

Logan Contracting is seeking a Full-Time skilled and dedicated Agricultural Diesel Mechanic to join our team on a Permanent Full-Time basis in Cobden, Victoria. As an integral part of our operations, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our tractor and machinery fleet, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities (but not limited to):

Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on tractors and machinery, including engines, gearboxes, clutches, axles, suspensions, brakes, and tyres.

Complete service and repair documentation in accordance with Logan Contracting policies.

Perform safety inspections and prepare vehicles for roadworthy certifications.

Manage spare parts inventory in collaboration with the Workshop Manager.

Fulfil health and safety responsibilities, adhering strictly to Logan Contracting OH&S policies and procedures.

Engage in other duties as directed by management.

Knowledge/Experience, Qualifications, Skills and Attributes:

Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.

Valid Driver’s License and Diesel Mechanic Trade Qualification.

Strong communication, problem-solving skills, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Organized, detail-oriented, and flexible to work overtime and some weekends as needed.

Salary: $78,000 to $81,000 dependent on experience.
