Capability Development Educator

We're looking for a Registered Nurse to work alongside our Leadership and Clinical teams, responsible for facilitating mandatory learning and capability development for our teams so residents feel heard, known, valued and cared for as their needs change.
About the Role
- Work with the leadership team to create a culture of coaching, development and learning across our site which champions resident care,
- Develop the training calendar and monitor the learning transfer/growth across the site,
- Provide training to staff that delivers person-centred care and excellent clinical care standards,
- Onboard new hires and ensure they understand our model of care and what's expected of them,
- Plan for the diverse learning needs of our team (e.g. RN's, EN's, Care Staff, Hospitality, Maintenance and Laundry Staff),
- Maintain up to date records to demonstrate our commitment to staff learning and the new Aged Care Standards.
About You
An enthusiastic and committed Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration, you will:
- Have a Cert IV Training/Assessment or equivalent (or willingness to obtain)
- Experienced in aged care and passionate about improving resident outcomes,
- Be adaptable to pivot training to your audience needs for example different learning and communication styles,
- Able to identify education requirements, source and deliver appropriate education in response to identified needs and evaluate outcomes of education delivery,
- Be a natural collaborator who builds trust and inspires others to develop their skills,
- Be organised, considerate and committed to continuous improvement.
