We're currently seeking a Purchasing & Supply Coordinator to join a well-established and growing organisation at their Coburg site in Melbourne's north. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity, ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership of purchasing and planning responsibilities, working across departments, and contributing to a high-performing supply chain team.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Supply Team Leader, with support from the Supply & Inventory Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

Creating and managing purchase orders via JDE/Gains systems

Coordinating with overseas/local suppliers and freight forwarders

Monitoring stock levels, identifying risks, and escalating as needed

Tracking container ETAs/ETDs and working closely with warehouse teams on arrivals

Updating order statuses, landed costs, and supplier invoices in JDE

Generating regular supply planning reports and supporting S&OP meetings

Supporting team members and assisting with continuous improvement initiatives

About You:

To be successful in this role, you'll bring:

3+ years' experience in purchasing, supply planning, or logistics

Background in FMCG, imported food, or warehousing (highly regarded)

Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills

Intermediate to advanced Excel (pivot tables; macros a bonus)

Experience with JDE or similar ERP and supply planning systems

Minimum 6+ months hands-on experience with JDE system required

A problem-solving mindset and ability to manage competing priorities

A team-first approach and willingness to assist others where needed

Australian work authorisation required for this position
