Our Mechanical Building Service design team provides engineering advice and detailed design documentation on the following aspects of building services:

· Smoke Hazard Management systems

· Smoke Exhaust systems and Smoke and Heat vents

· Automatic Stair Pressurisation systems

· Direct expansion Split and Multi-split Air conditioning systems

· Chilled and heating water air conditioning systems

· Outdoor air ventilation systems

· General exhaust ventilation systems

· Kitchen Ventilation systems

· Carpark Ventilation systems (Natural ventilation and Mechanical ventilation)

· Specialise exhaust ventilation system (Fume cupboards, Chemical store, Flammable Liquids stores)

· Building Management and Control Systems

· NCC Section J Building Fabric assessments and JV3 performance solution assessments.

Our desire is to engage with a Mechanical Engineer who has at least 2 years’ recent experience in the NSW Building Services industry.

The role will see you utilising your communication, engineering, and management skills to deliver competent, sound engineering advice and documentation to our many varied clients. This involves:

· The ability to design and document building services projects.

· The ability to undertake calculations in specialised software applications (ACADS CAMEL, Better Buildings)

· The ability to prepare AutoCAD drawings of medium complexity without supervision

· The ability to prepare Revit 3D models of Building Services design without supervision Ability to understand and interpret the Building Code of Australia and Relevant Australian Standards

· The ability to utilise Microsoft Word and Excel.

· The ability to work in a safe manner

· The ability to implement office procedures and utilise the CC project management system.

· The ability to operate office equipment – photocopiers, plan printer etc
