The Opportunity:
We've partnered with a growing Defence and Legal Consulting firm that's entering an exciting new phase of expansion. With long-term projects across Defence, CASG, and National Security portfolios, they're now looking for a Practice Lead to build and lead a new Export Controls Consulting team. This is a key role in their next stage of growth and ideal for someone who enjoys shaping strategy, mentoring others, and driving commercial success.

About the Role:
As the Practice Lead, you'll take ownership of establishing a new Export Controls capability from the ground up. You'll lead delivery, grow a small team, and play a hands-on role in shaping the firm's direction. There's plenty of autonomy here - you'll work directly with clients, develop new service offerings, and use your networks to create commercial opportunities.

About You:
You're an experienced Export Controls professional who's comfortable leading teams and building something new. You bring a strong understanding of Defence and National Security environments and know how to turn your expertise into real client value. You enjoy combining delivery work with business development and want to join a smaller firm where you can make a visible impact.
