Due to the commitment for sustained growth of our business, we are now seeking a highly motivated, energetic person to join our team as a Business Development Account Manager. Your week will be split between our Dandenong South office with freeway access and working your busy portfolio of prospects and trading accounts across metro Melbourne.

You will be supported by an enthusiastic and experienced team to service and meet your client’s needs whilst also supporting you in identifying a pipeline of new business opportunities for you to approach.

As your portfolio grows, account management will become key to maintaining and increasing revenue streams whilst promoting organic growth etc.

About the Role:

Reporting to the State Manager & CEO your responsibilities will include,

Achieving Sales & Profit Targets for a group of allocated clients.

Demonstrating proactive approach to problem solving and a solution selling focus

Converting new business to deliver annual new business sales targets.

Collaborate with other team members to initiate and set the highest of customer service excellence standards and delivery possible.

Taking a hands on and proactive approach in nurturing and developing strong customer relationships with existing and new customers to ensure repeat trade.

Representing Tranzworks throughout the Transport Industry displaying a high level of integrity, a strong customer service ethic and at all times follow through on promises made.

The Ideal Candidate:

You will preferably have several years’ experience as a Sales Account Manager and well regarded within the Transport Industry.

Sound negotiation and influencing skills, excellent communication, a positive can do attitude, high energy, passion and drive to pursue new business opportunities.

You will also have a successful track record of meeting and exceeding sales Targets/Budgets.

The successful candidate must present evidence of work rights in Australia, a current Australian driver’s license and present a clean and valid police check prior to commencement.
