Survey Group is seeking an experienced, proactive and highly organised Survey Drafter / GIS Analyst to join their Perth based office on a full time basis.

As the Survey Drafter / GIS Analyst you will be responsible for:

12D Design, Analysis and Volume

Utilising software packages including: 12D, Trimble Business Centre, Real works / Cyclone and Autocad

Drafting of general survey plans using software’s

Preparation, manipulation, and calculation of data, for use by Surveyors in the field

Proficiency with ARC/INFO, ArcView, ArcGIS extensions, Access, and SDE, and other GIS tools, utilities, and databases.

GIS quality control and quality assurance.

Assisting with IT support

Mentoring and training technical employees to assist with project efficiencies

To be considered for this position you must have the following:

Formal qualification or certification in Surveying/Drafting or relevant to role

Demonstrated experience in GIS and drafting practices.

Proficient skill in cartography as well as coordinate systems and projections

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, manage time effectively and set priorities

Demonstrated computer literacy and keyboard skills, including knowledge and experience with Microstation and AutoCAD

Ability and willingness to work as part of team, effectively managing time and setting work priorities

Ability to meet deadlines

Willingness to develop skills, adapt and learn new technologies and drafting techniques

Flexibility with working arrangements
