Wilson Surveying has been carrying out land surveys across Greater Melbourne from our Lilydale based office for almost 30 years.

In order to better service our job sites on the western side of Melbourne, we are looking for a Survey Technician who has some experience in feature surveys who would appreciate the flexibility of being able to work from home. A company car forms part of a salary package which will align to your overall level of experience/qualifications. Starting each day from your home base on the west of Melbourne, the job would be 100% field work, with only occasional visits to the office required. Start and finish times are also flexible, with some overtime as required. This a job that suits someone who values their independence and is self motivated to get through their work day.

Wilson Surveying carries out surveys from Geelong to Traralgon, with feature surveys, title re-establishments and subdivisions forming the majority of our work. Our team enjoys a flexible, casual workplace with many long term employees. We have an extensive pipeline of work with new customers coming on board, and we want motivated and interesting people to help us build and grow our company.

We use Trimble total stations and GNSS rovers in the field, and LISCAD and AutoCAD to produce our survey plans in the office.

The role:

Will be entirely field based, with some admin at the start/end of the day

Will require a minimum of a Certificate or Diploma qualification in Surveying

Suitable for someone with 2-5 years experience in feature surveys

Full time role, with occasional overtime required

Salary in line with your experience and qualifications
