The Opportunity

As a Senior Business Analyst, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of digital services at the DTMI. You’ll work closely with business users to understand their needs, redesign processes, and define solution requirements that support strategic goals.

You’ll be involved in exciting, high-impact projects such as:

TRELLIS – a transformative initiative for transport systems

Digital Driver’s Licence – modernising identity verification

Legacy System Modernisation – migrating to cloud-based platforms

What You'll Do

Lead workshops and facilitate stakeholder engagement across business areas

Translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements

Collaborate with development teams to design innovative solutions

Create use cases, documentation, and training materials

Mentor junior analysts and contribute to strategic planning

This recruitment process is intended to establish a pool of suitable candidates for current opportunities, as well as for similar fixed-term and permanent positions that are expected to arise within the Department of Transport and Major Infrastructure over the next 12 months from the date of first appointment.

Extroverted and communicative – experience running workshops and strong stakeholder skills

Analytical and logical – able to break down complex problems

Detail-oriented – ensures accuracy in documentation and analysis

Experienced – with Agile methodologies and large-scale application design
